Hi, I'm Jasmine! I'm the hands behind the potions and the heart behind the purpose. I first started Nightshade Cosmetics in 2016 and like my brand, I’ve shapeshifted many times over the years. I grew up surrounded by plant medicine, homemade healing, and the power of care passed down through the hands of my mother and a lot of what I create now is shaped by her love and my roots as both a Black and Indigenous woman. Each version of me has made something beautiful and every product I’ve ever created is crafted with intention, care, and love. 

My work is personal. It’s spiritual. It’s legacy.

Nightshade Cosmetics first came to life as a creative outlet, a ritual, and a form of healing. After losing my mother, everything changed but I seek to listen to and honor her memory, my grief, and the call to begin again.

Restarting this brand is a sacred act for me and acts as an altar to her, to myself, and to anyone who has ever needed something to comfort them through a hard season.

How I Create

Every product you see here was born from the needs of those around me, often my mother, my son, or someone close to me who trusted me to help. I listen deeply, research obsessively, and blend intentionally. 

I use ingredients that are:
